Microsoft has officially announced a brand new expansion for Halo Wars 2, title Awakening the Nightmare. The expansion will prove to add on an entirely new campaign that finally introduces the terrifying Flood to the game.
Awakening the Nightmare has you taking control of The Banished this point, and taking advantage of fresh units and weaponry to secure the line up against the unrelenting hordes in the Flood. And a new campaign, the rise can even extra new leaders, units, and maps for multiplayer. Microsoft to secrete short teaser trailer for Awakening the Nightmare, which you may see below. A clip shows a unit of Brutes wandering to a dark ruin, while using voice of Atriox cryptically saying he said excitedly not to drop by. It should be noted that Halo Wars 2 was among the many games listed which gets an enhancement boost for the Xbox One X.
Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare doesn’t already have a release date, but it really will probably be going to both Xbox One and PC. We’ll always help keep you updated with any new info or simply a release date with the expansion.
