With updates rolled out from Nintendo, the Switch console is capable of supporting many more headset options than at initial release but it can still be more complex than any desired plug-and-play solution in many cases. When it comes to Bluetooth headsets, the Switch console does not naturally support Bluetooth in any capacity, but does have 3.5mm and USB-C ports that can be used for Bluetooth adapters. Any adapter that can fit the USB-C port can be used to connect to a Bluetooth headset for sound, while a 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter will be needed for using voice input from a headset to the switch.
