With the reveal inside Nintendo Switch, and even using of cartridges to invest time winning contests, many wondered if backwards compatibility together with the 3DS or Wii U can be possible. IGN sent a request to obtain definitively, and Nintendo answered with a simple, “No.”
Apparently, “Nintendo Switch is dedicated to give a single-screen experience.” which obviously wouldn’t let the dual screen play both 3DS and Wii U offer sometimes. Now obviously, it’s fairly simple that eventually, likely through Virtual Console, 3DS and Wii U games is proper for the Switch, but it surely won’t show up at inception.
With Nintendo stating there won’t be anymore news surrounding the console until 2017, there’s likely likely to be additional speculation and rumor until they next reveal.
