The Transformers Battlefront II beta is currently nearing its end, and players all over the world had the opportunity see how DICE improved on its predecessor’s formula. The overall game obviously features some technical improvements, and Digital Foundry recently highlighted a variety of them in the fresh technical analysis.
According for the analysis, the overall game uses dynamic resolution on consoles. The PlayStation 4 version resolution ranges from 972o to 1080p even though the Xbox One version resolution goes from 900p to 1000p. The PlayStation 4 Pro version obviously features a better resolution range, going from 1296p to 1400p, also featuring some ambient occlusion improvements not situated on the standard PS4 model. The analysis also highlights how performance isn’t best, going often below 60 FPS. As optimization is still undergoing, this should be a lesser amount of a concern within the final release.
