Today, we view another professional gamer banned for inappropriate?behavior while streaming. Overwatch pro player and DPS for Selfless Gaming, Daniel “Dafran” Francesca to become exact. His crime? Intentionally causing other players to throw games due to playing the erotic visual novel, Nekopara, mobile.
To many people who’ve played video game titles during the duration of us, it’s never extraordinary to have someone playing audio that is…questionable. However, during his stream, Dafran?admitted he was playing the visual novel for your sole purpose of throwing games. You can view a video of him admitting it here, but have no fear, it’s safe for work. However, since he’s a specialist who represents Overwatch, action needed to be taken.
Blizzard gave their decision around the matter today on this to state:
“For this violation, in June 21, Blizzard will suspend Dafran’s the means to access his current Overwatch is the reason a single week, and from Competitive Play for the remainder of Season 5. Further, Dafran is disqualified from Overwatch Contenders Season Zero, aren’t going to be eligible for Overwatch Contenders Season One, as well as being disqualified coming from all future Blizzard-sanctioned tournament play throughout this competitive season. Dafran’s Overwatch Contenders team continues to be qualified to smart phone market an alternative.”
Selfless, the c’s that Dafran?represented, also has taken action by suspending Dafran. Another player will probably be caused to change him in competitive play during the course of his ban.

Overwatch and professional players should certainly be on notice following these events. Blizzard incorporates a really low tolerance for misconduct and won’t hesitate to ban gamers for trolling like Dafran involved in.
